Clevis Model
P5-404-6SC
This embodiment was
jointly developed by engineers at TiNi Aerospace and Goddard Space Flight
Center (GSFC) for NASA’s New Millennium Program. It incorporates a unique
side mounted clevis type flange used in conjunction with a release
tongue/leaf to support the Magnetometer and S-Band Booms aboard the
constellation of three ST-5 satellites. The U shaped flange offers
additional pin support thereby increasing the Pinpullers side load holding
capability while at same time restricting lateral movement.
