Frangibolt Model FC4-24-10FSR2

In conjunction with the Naval Research Laboratory and Woods Hole Oceanographic Institute, TiNi Aerospace has evolved a line of Actuators suited for deployment of under water appendages. 
Applications include those of great depths which require the Actuator to be placed in a container and filled with oil to react the high pressures encountered.    As in space, release applications suited for the Frangibolt are many, including Ballast release, Buoy Detachment, Payload Separation, Instrument Recovery, and Disentanglement.
