Frangivalve Model FV4-24-10SR2

TiNi Aerospace has developed a Non-Explosive Isolation Valve based on its existing Frangibolt separation system.
The FrangiValve concept is simple:  rather than using the force and stroke of the Actuator to completely break a fastener to facilitate separation, the output of the Actuator is instead used to sever an internal feature machined into the Valve Body to open a normally closed valve.   This “smart” mechanism approach to providing flow control in aerospace propulsion and gas sampling systems represents a timely solution to problems associated with pyrotechnic valves currently on the market.
