Pinpuller Model
P10-405-5RS
The P10-405-5RS is a
custom Pinpuller configuration designed for the Space Sciences Laboratory of
the University
of California at Berkeley. It will be used on NASA’s “STEREO” project where
its function is to deploy the “WAVES” instrument which is comprised of 3
stacer antennae. As shown, it has a specially designed Roller at the tip of
the Pin which helps
to maximize side load capability by allowing the deployable to Roll rather
than Slide off the Pin.
