Pinpuller Model P50-1310-3RS

This is a stronger derivative of our standard P50 Pinpuller.  It was specially configured for NASA GSFC to be used aboard the Space Technology 5 (ST5) satellite of the New Millennium Program.  The Pinpuller is used to deploy the 55 lb miniature spacecraft from its launch vehicle. This particular embodiment uses TiNi’s patented trigger mechanism to retract the engagement Pin with 60 lbs of force and 0.80” of stroke.  The extra pull force makes this model capable of releasing against sheer loads well above 200 lbs.
