Pinpusher Model PS5-404-7S

This model was developed for the European Space Agency’s (ESA) Rosetta mission to actuate the launch lock mechanism of the Wide Angle Camera (WAC).  Pinpushers of this type may be configured in various ways for numerous aerospace applications.  For example, the output pin may be coupled to a cutting blade or a piercing ram for applications requiring separation of a hold down cord or ventilation of a pressurized vessel, respectively.
