The ERM shown above is a derivative of our BE2K Ejector. This embodiment is currently being qualified for Northrop Grumman. It incorporates a convenient Actuator enclosure and 2 point mounting flange for easy attachment to a structure. On the opposite end, a #10 size bolt is mounted to the Deployable via a similar but smaller mounting flange. The two sides are firmly connected by torquing the #10 bolt into the Actuator Nose or Coupler. The ERM configuration also incorporates a ball and socket seat on both the Actuator and Coupler side so that each of them can rotate up to
± 10 degrees to compensate for misalignment. Release is accomplished on command, by retracting the detent balls which support the Coupler to the Actuator thereby Ejecting the Deployable as shown. Key
