Frangibolt Actuators For Underwater Applications

1/4" Size Frangibolt Enclosure

In collaboration with our underwater customers, TiNi Aerospace has developed a generic Frangibolt Actuator housing which is suitable for operation in  depths approaching 2000 feet.  This type of Actuator housing can be oil filled for pressure compensation and is equipped with a standard underwater connector.  The design as shown simplifies the integration process and has the following benefits:

• Is fully sealed

• Can be pre-assembled (and tested) on  bench top prior to system integration

• Provides a convenient connection to the structure and deployable

• Is fully resetable and reusable

• Can be modified into other configurations as needed.
