Machining TiNi Aerospace has a full capacity machine shop highlighted by our CNC
Arrow 150 Lathe and Hawk 500 Mill. Built by Cincinnati Milacron these
machines represent the latest in Computer Numeric Control machining capable
of repeating dimensions to +/- 4 microns. Programming is done using Feature Mill 3D Computer Aided Manufacturing (CAM) software. This package enables the machinist to quickly convert parts drawings to machine code, allowing turnkey operation. Our machine shop is designed for prototype and low volume production with the mentality that each dimension of every part is critical. Assembly TiNi Aerospace has a segregated assembly area equipped with laminar flow work stations. Assembly is performed by trained and certified individuals following detailed work instructions. To further aid the assembly process, over the last 10 years, TiNi has developed a number of specific tools and fixtures to help stream line these operations. In-process testing is done at various key stages of the assembly to ensure that the mechanism is built to specification.
